<p>The &#39;Becoming a Remote Pilot for Network Rail&#39; course has been developed for colleagues interested in volunteering as a Remote Pilot for Network Rail. This course is a prerequisite to enrolment onto a General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) course. This course introduces the responsibilities of a Remote Pilot, including some of the regulations, standards and procedures that govern the use of drones, and serves as a useful future resource following qualification as a Remote Pilot.<br /> This course includes a Pre-GVC Remote Pilot eLearning section, followed by a Pre-GVC Remote Pilot - Knowledge Assessment section.<br /> - This course will not award a competence.<br /> - While this course does not award a competence, it is designed so you can make an informed decision on whether this is right role for you.<br /> - This course will also guide you on the steps you need to take to become a Remote Pilot for Network Rail.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</p>
